There’s a wonderful blend between landscape architecture and interpretation, with many stories held in the land. We aim to reveal the subtleties of these stories in every project. By taking a holistic view of the landscape, we look to work with its layers, before building the stories that lie within this space.
This exploration allows us be open minded about the solutions that we propose.
Sometimes we may suggest interpretation panels, but we may also provide alternatives that respond aptly to the landscape including sculptures, seating, pathways, or planting. Equally we might bring an artist in to interpret the space and come up with an artist led solution.
By using a variety of materials and different combinations of materials, our solutions echo and complement the landscapes in which they sit. We regularly use glass, bronze, stone, Cor-ten steel, GRP, zinc etched steel, vitreous enamel and high pressure laminate panels, but are always exploring new and innovative materials to complement our design opportunities.
