Branding and Logos

Corporate Identity involves a combination of design services, but it all revolves around a great logo. Of course the logo itself is important but we are not just talking about pretty pictures here. The logo is in some ways the embodiment of the the brand values of the organisation. As such if that logo is presented in an inconsistant or sloppy fashion then this reflects on that organisation.

Brand values reflect how a company relates to its customers or consumers. Our role is not just about creating good looking logos but also creating logos that last. We do this by providing choices and collaboration with client and user groups. The first stage is to create a selction of logos of varying designs in order to provide as much choice as possible. After this a short list of selections is made and refined to the final stage.

One of our logos has recently been selected for inclusion in a European Logo Design Annual.

Typically the branding process involves the following stages:

Stage 1 – Ideas, ideas ideas! This first stage involves the designing of around a dozen logos. These will have different strands, colours and fonts. Often you will tell us what you you don't like as much as what you do like. This all helps to tease out the logo for you.

Stage 2 – Refining the chosen few! This second stage will refine or modify the chosen few logos from stage one. This could be using a colour form logo A but using the font of logo B, you get the idea?

Stage 3 – Digitise it! This is the final stage where we make the chosen logo work acorss different media and sizes. You will get a CD with the logos for every eventuality as well as a Corporate Guideline Document showing you and your partners how best to use your new Brand.
